Dirty Pilot Light
If your pilot is dirty it will affect your fireplace in many ways. the burner might not light, it might not stay lite, it might come on and off, the pilot is crucial to the valve functioning properly. If your Pilot looks like this or is not working call for service.


Spiders Nests in Burner Orifice and Tube
Spiders LOVE making nests in burner tubes and orifices... This is a problem because it mimics a valve malfunction. The flames on the burner might not come on at all because the tube is filled with nest material, or the flames may be very low. Fixing this issue needs to be preformed by a service professional due to the disassembly needed to correct the problem. Call for Service


Ice Build Up Due to Glass Not Attached
Ice Build up on the exterior of the frame and screen can be caused buy: Latches not attached to glass panel, or a seal / gasket that has worn out. If its a gasket issue call for service.

Dirty Glass
Dirty Glass is inevitable with gas fireplaces. Byproduct of burning Natural or LP gas is the white film seen in this photo. To clean fireplace glass you must NEVER use any cleaner with ammonia in it. Fireplace glass is a special tempered glass that does not react well with ammonia. Over tine it will make the glass extreamly cloudy and brittle. Only clean glass with Gas Fireplace Glass Cleaner.
