Dirty Glass

Dirty Glass is inevitable with gas fireplaces. Byproduct of burning Natural or LP gas is the white film seen in this photo. To clean fireplace glass you must NEVER use any cleaner with ammonia in it. Fireplace glass is a special tempered glass that does not react well with ammonia. Over tine it will make the glass extreamly cloudy and brittle. Only clean glass with Gas Fireplace Glass Cleaner.
